Artist association design concept
The National Endowment for the Arts is an independent federal agency whose funding and support gives American artists the ability to exercise their imaginations, and develop their creative capabilities. The objective was to suggest a unique visual approach to their yearly report.
Services Provided: Photography, Cover Design, Print layout Design
We were tasked with creating a book cover that would celebrate the fiscal year. Additionally, the identity would need to be scalable and be easily implemented across various print and digital formats for the internal marketing team. The project required an intensive research in the history of the foundation in order to extract the golden nuggets that made the Association what it is in this digital age.
The visual identity was inspired by minimal and dynamic textures (like those often found on students desks in art schools and the vibrant colors that can emit from these accidental master pieces)
